Setup Email using Windows 10 Mail

Windows 10 Mail is a basic email application that comes with Windows 10.

  1. Click on Accounts then Choose Add Account on right side of window
  2. Scroll down on the Add an Account window and select Advanced setup
  3. Choose Internet email option
  4. Enter in all your email account info on this window:
    1. Username = your email address
    2. Incoming mail server = mail.swd.ca
    3. Account type = POP3 or IMAP4. (This is your choice. IMAP4 is used to synchronize your email across different devices.)
    4. Outgoing (SMTP) server = mail.swd.ca
    5. Ensure all check boxes at the bottom are checked.
  5. Select Sign-in and you are done.
