Setup email account on your iPhone/iPad

This article explains how to setup your SWD email account on your iPhone or iPad. Setting up your account on a iPhone or iPad is very simple. Ensure you have your email password before starting. Determine if you want to use IMAP or POP.

Setup with IMAP

1) Select Settings icon

2) Select Password & Accounts

3) Select Add Account

4) Select Other

5) Select Add Mail Account

6) Enter your Name, Email Address and password

7) Select Next

8) Choose IMAP

Incoming Mail Server

Host Name: mail.swd.ca
User Name: use your email address
Password: use your password

* Ensure SSL is enabled and using port 993

Outgoing Mail Server

Host Name: mail.swd.ca
User Name: use your email address
Password: use your password

* Ensure SSL is enabled and using port 465

Select Save. Your account is now ready to use

Setup with POP

1) Select Settings icon

2) Select Password & Accounts

3) Select Add Account

4) Select Other

5) Select Add Mail Account

6) Enter your Name, Email Address and password

7) Select Next

8) Choose POP

Incoming Mail Server

Host Name: mail.swd.ca
User Name: use your email address
Password: use your password

* Ensure SSL is enabled and using port 995

Outgoing Mail Server

Host Name: mail.swd.ca
User Name: use your email address
Password: use your password

* Ensure SSL is enabled and using port 465

Select Save. Your account is now ready to use
