How do I manage SWD antispam service

Our Anti-SPAM service is almost 100% effective with low false positives. The service is being continuously updated to handle the latest spammer tricks. Technologies used are: SpamAssassin, Bayesian Filters, Greylisting, SURBL and others techniques.

This is how it works:

1) We would enable the anti-spam service for your domain. This means all your email accounts will be protected.

2) Any email that is determined to be SPAM by our service will be tagged as SPAM and sent to a SPAM folder (see below for screen shot). This folder can be accessed via SWD webmail.

3) Any email in the SPAM folder that is older than 21 days will be deleted. Therefore, there is no worry about having to clean out the SPAM folder and taking up all your storage space.

4) There may be occasions where a legitimate email may be tagged as SPAM (ie HTML newsletters). If this email is from an address that you normally get email from then it might be good to add the email address to the white list. White listed emails are always accepted regardless of content.

To white list an email address from the SPAM folder (see screen shot below): click on the good email and select the green "checkmark" button on the right hand side.

You will then be shown a pop-up message to tell you what address was added to white list. Click on OK to close message (see below).

5) To be able to maintain this white list and add your own address ahead of time is easy. Click on Settings in webmail and choose 'Server Rules' on left hand side (see screenshot below). This screen shot is showing 'Basic View'

1) Choose 'From: Contains' for Item.
2) For String add in domain name or email address.
3) Choose 'Accept' for Action.
4) Click on Add button to complete.
